Introducing HomeArize AI, a conversational way for flooring businesses to ask about sales, quotes, inventory, work orders and more in everyday language.
Introducing HomeArize AI: A New Way to Access Your Flooring Business Information
Today we are announcing the launch of HomeArize AI, a new AI feature for flooring businesses that lets you ask questions about your business in everyday language and reach the information you need.
A flooring business produces a steady stream of information: sales, customer accounts, quotes, purchase orders, stock levels and jobs in progress. Finding an answer has usually meant knowing which section to open and what to filter. With HomeArize AI, you can type a question the way you would ask a colleague, instead of navigating there first.
This announcement explains why we introduced it, what the new experience looks like, and how flooring businesses might use it day to day.
Why We Introduced HomeArize AI
Most flooring businesses do not have an information problem. They have an access problem. The answer to a simple question is often a few clicks away in one section, and a few more in another.
Take an ordinary Monday. A showroom manager wants to know how sales looked last month. An operations manager wants to see which jobs are close to done. Whoever handles purchasing wants to know what is still pending with suppliers. A salesperson wants to check which quotes are still open. Each question has an answer, but each answer sits in a different part of the business: invoices, work orders, purchase orders, quotes, customer accounts or inventory.
None of these are hard questions. They are everyday ones, asked repeatedly, often while someone is standing on the showroom floor or moving between job sites. Conversational access gives people another way in. You start with the question, and HomeArize AI helps you get to the information.
When information is slow to reach, small decisions wait: whether to follow up on a quote, whether a product needs reordering, whether a job is ready to wrap up. We wanted the questions people already ask to be easier to start.
HomeArize AI does not replace the rest of the platform. Records are still created and managed in the HomeArize features your team already uses. It is an additional way to reach information, not a different way of running the business.
Meet the New HomeArize AI Experience
HomeArize AI is a chat experience. You type a question in the chat box, or open the predefined prompts to start from a ready-made question. The screen also includes a history option and an AI Insights section. To see the full list of predefined queries at any time, type a slash in the chat box or click Prompts.
The predefined prompts are organized into six business areas:
Sales and revenue
Customers and accounts
Purchasing and vendors
Inventory and stock
Work orders
Quotes and estimating
To make that concrete, a few of the questions you will see are "What was sales last month?" under sales and revenue, "Pending purchase orders" under purchasing and vendors, and "Low stock alert" under inventory and stock.
The prompts are starting points. You can also type a question in your own words.
What HomeArize AI Means for Flooring Businesses
The practical value is in the routine questions that come up all week. Here are a few ways different roles might use it:
Showroom and sales teams
Ask for pending open quotes before following up with customers. Quotes are still built and sent with the Fast Quotes feature, and the AI is a way to ask where they stand.
Operations managers
Ask for jobs ready for completion to see what is close to wrapping up.
Owners and managers
Ask about the repeat customer percentage to understand how many customers come back. The customer records themselves stay in customer management.
Purchasing and inventory
Ask for total inventory valuation to see the value of stock on hand, with stock itself tracked in inventory management.
Contractors and installation teams can use it the same way for work orders and quotes. Because you ask in everyday language, it may also help newer team members get answers without first learning where everything lives in the platform.
Here is an illustrative start to the week. The showroom manager asks what sales were last month, then asks for pending open quotes to decide who to call first. The operations manager asks which jobs are ready for completion, while purchasing checks pending purchase orders. These are questions each team asks anyway. The difference is where they begin: with a question instead of a menu.
HomeArize AI is built to help your team spend less time hunting for information and more time acting on it. Whether it is a quick check on sales, quotes or stock, the answer starts with a single question.
